Method & Craft

We were lucky enough to collaborate with Phil Coffman on his new design site focusing on the method of our craft. We built out the entire front end as well as the ExpressionEngine implementation.

This project was such a pleasure to work on, solid design from Phil and of course a content strategy that is very close to our hearts. Be sure to keep an eye on this one as it grows with more content and new features.

Cornerstone Fellowship

Cornerstone Fellowship is one of the largest churches in the East Bay Area. Bold was hired to completely redesign and rebuild their website from the ground up. The main vision and goal of the site was to make it's breadth of knowledge easy to find for Cornerstone's 6,000+ attenders. It had also pushed it's current CMS to the limit and was in need of a more powerful, flexible solution. Our job started with information architecture to user experience and surveys to design, development and finally implementation into ExpressionEngine.

This project was especially dear to our hearts as we did a redesign for Cornerstone several years back. It was good to get back in with such a great team and a great church.

FRVNT

FRVNT (pronounced Fervent) is a Bold side project we developed to track personal prayer requests and share them with others. There was no online solution available, so we ventured out to build our own. It's been well received with over 400 current users and over 700 prayers being tracked.

After nearly a year of being in the wild, we've seen a demand for FRVNT in a mobile form. We are currently developing the mobile solution that should allow our users an optimized experience when using FRVNT on their phones.

We built the site using the open source PHP framework, CodeIgniter. The design end was done by the talented Phil Coffman.

The SOLD Project

Every now and again Bold has the opportunity to work with NFP organizations such as The SOLD Project. We were brought on to design and develop a new website to help establish their online presence and brand. Using existing elements from current branding we designed an "authentically worn" site that communicates the message well but most importantly keeps the focus where it belongs: stopping the sex trade.

Liveset

Bold was tapped by our friends at Crush + Lovely to lend a hand on the Liveset project. Liveset is an online venue for watching live music in handsome HD quality. We were brought in to work on the design and development of their microsite, Tumblr blog and an HTML newsletter.

Bold teamed with Phil Coffman to help with the initial designs and of course the Crush + Lovely team is top notch and working inside their Git repository was an absolute blast. The project has been a great success so far, be sure to keep an eye out for your favorite performer.

Ad Network Interface

Designing and developing new user interfaces brings us so much joy. That's why we were so happy to jump onto this project to design and develop a new Ad Network interface. The challenges were complex as the scale of the application was rather large. Our goal, as with any project, was to create an experience that was a pleasurable and intuitive.
