Everyone looks different in the morning. Some people look like they are ready for a good day, when freshly rolled out of bed. Others look like to take some time to brush their hair and freshen up before they can even look at their partner or consider taking a shower.

Either way here are 4 ways that you can look fresh as a daisy, straight out of bed!

4 ways to wake up beautiful, gorgeous:

1- Avoid bad habits:

We can have a bunch of bad habits that contribute to us looking dead, exhausted and out of shape in the morning. The first bad habit is to wake up late. When we wake up late we have more chance of waking up with big under-eye bags and a swollen face. Sleeping early and waking up early can help you look fresh and beautiful in the morning.

Another possible bad habit is staying in the clothes you slept in during a day off. Even if you intend on taking a shower a bit later in the day, consider changing as soon as you wake up. When we change, wash our face, brush our teeth and brush our hair we feel more revitalised and ready for the day!

It’s important to take a shower as soon as possible in the morning. You should also eat some fruit and a healthy snack before your day starts. The list of tips given here is not exhaustive, but it covers all the basics and eliminates bad habits.

If you have time, go for a walk or have a quick chat with your partner once you freshen up.

2- Sleep early and have a good night sleep:

Sometimes, we wake up in the morning looking and feeling extremely tired. We spend half the day sitting on a chair and doing nothing but staring at a screen. This is a result of lack of proper sleep, which is caused by stress, anxiety and depression.

Sleep is a very important part of our daily routine. Unfortunately, we only get 2 or 3 hours of it every night, when we’re too busy on stay up on our phones until late. Try to get at least 8 hours of sleep if not more, but don’t oversleep either. Ideally you should go to bed early and fall asleep at least before 11:00 pm.

One of the most important aspects to look after when it comes to your health is your sleep. If you are unable to sleep at night, it can be very detrimental for your daily well-being.

3- Brush your teeth thoroughly before you sleep:

If you leave little food particles in between your teeth, you may wake up with horrible bad breath as these little crumbles will stay in the humidity and warmth of you mouth all night. Try to always brush your teeth properly before bed.

Use an electric toothbrush preferably, as they can be a lot more efficient and reach places that cannot be reached with a manual one.

4- Have a good night routine:

One way to guarantee waking up with smooth, clear, glowing and full-of-life skin is to wash your face proper at night. Apply a scrub or face mask before bed. No matter what you do just make sure you purify your skin and remove all toxins, makeup residue and unclog your pores before you sleep.

This way your skin can spend the night breathing and getting rejuvenated rather than fighting off the stuff and micro-organisms that you left on it.

Another thing to do before bed is to brush your hair and put your hair in a bun if it’s long, which you probably already do if you have a partner. As you may have experienced your partner may roll up on your hair in the middle of the night or cause hair breakage or even painful night awakenings.

For this reason, make sure you make it a habit to at least: remove and rinse all the makeup-up out of your face before bed, you brush your teeth and you brush your hair and put it in a bun. This way you have more chances to conserve your natural beauty and to wake up feeling and looking like a queen!

Bottom line:

A good night routine can help you feel and look better, everyday. An effective way to ensure that you have a good day is a good night routine and to wash your face, brush your teeth and to put your hair in a bun, before bed.
