5 reasons to tell someone if you love them

if you love them tell them

If you love someone tell them! It’s that simple and that easy. And, this is the idea, concept, or philosophy that we will be defending here. We will give you reasons to love life, be more open, positive, outgoing, and more importantly tell the people you love that you love them!

In brief, today we will list 5 reasons why you must tell your crush that you love them or confess your feelings. This list is not only for single people who are looking to confess their love to someone special, it is also for couples that have stopped being sweet and romantic.

One of the most important things in a relationship is communication. It’s important to be able to talk about your feelings with your partner and tell them how you feel. But, here are a bunch of more reasons to tell them!

If you love someone tell them, for these reasons:

1- Life is short:

It’s easy to forget how short life is. We will all die in the end, this is a fact of life and regardless of how pessimistic you think this thinking is, it can be very positive, encouraging, and beneficial too. If we’re all gonna die in the end and there’s no way around it anyway, then why not make the best out of our lives? What do we have to lose?

We have everything to gain instead. That’s why while you can, while your legs are strong, mind sharp, and soul eager, confess your love and stand a chance at living your best life with your person of choice before it’s too late. And, it will be too late before you know it!

We often tell ourselves that we are not good enough, that we are not worthy enough to love and be loved. We worry about being rejected or being hurt or other silly excuses. But the truth is that life is short and there is no guarantee that tomorrow will come. We might as well take the risk and tell our crush how we feel about them before it’s too late.

2- If you try nothing, you get nothing:

Like the French saying goes: “Qui ne tente rien, n’a rien!”. It means if you try nothing, you get nothing which clearly implies that if you try something then at least there’s a chance you’ll get something. Granted, you may still not get exactly what you wanted but you’ll get something. And, something is always better than nothing, take our word for it.

In other words, if you try and get closer to the person you like or try and confess, you may still not end up becoming their romantic partner but who knows maybe a beautiful friendship will start. And, why even adopt this pessimistic view, maybe you get to date them and get exactly what you wanted. But, until you try nobody can predict what you’ll get out of it.

The world is a beautiful place, full of amazing people. We all have a story to tell and so many things to share… unless we were too shy to try anything at all. Being daring in a positive way and open to new adventures, and new things will only pay off. And, if there are some moments that we’d rather never share and want to keep private, or just for ourselves, then that’s fine. We’ll probably have another hundred stories to share anyway because we tried!

3- Rejection is worth it:

Rejection is not as bad and destructive as people make it out to be in their heads. It can help you grow. It can help you become more confident, more outgoing, recognize what you’ve done wrong and why you got rejected, and get higher chances of succeeding the next time around. This is why rejection can help you become more successful in whatever task you undertake.

So what if you got rejected? First of all, it will happen in private and nobody else will know about it. Secondly, if the person you confessed to, decided to tell everyone later on then at least you’ll get to see that they might have been different from who you thought they were.

If you weigh the possibility of living your dream love story with the person of your choice against the possibility of simply being told no, then confessing your love is very worth it. One possible scenario is to actually get to live your dream and what you have always wanted, the other is to be told they’re not interested, which is not really fatal.

In both cases, you end up being a winner. At least if you got rejected you’ll get to recover from it, know there’s no chance or hope there, and move on to the next best thing in life. So why not give it a shot, and see what will happen? It’s not like something irreversible, crazy and painful will occur. It’s just a confession!

4- No room will be left for “what if”s:

When you confess your love, you leave no room for “what if…” or “what could’ve been if only…”. You told them, you’ve done your part, if it’s meant to be it would’ve happened most definitely. If not, then at least you have no regrets, and nothing to beat yourself over not having done.

Keep in mind no one is perfect, and the person you are confessing your love to is not either. So there is no need to worry about finding the perfect words, because at the end of the day what matters is that you have taken your chances. So you will never think back and wonder what would’ve happened if only you told them.

No matter how much you plan for that big moment, there will always be some uncertainty. You might worry about what to say or whether or not they will feel the same way. But in reality, it doesn’t matter how well you say it as long as you say it and leave no room for regrets. If we don’t take risks in life, then we will never know what could have been.

5- You gain confidence and social skills either way:

Confessing your love for someone can be a nerve-racking experience. It takes courage, patience, and self-confidence to get through it. However, when we get rejected that’s when we gain a lot of confidence, resistance to failure, and most importantly: social skills.

Social skills are a set of personal qualities that allow people to interact with others in a way that is socially acceptable and maintain relationships. It is important to develop social skills because they help people develop their self-esteem, learn how to cope with difficult situations, and improve their communication.

When you get rejected, it can be a very hard thing to take. But it is important to know that rejection is not the end of the world and it is one of the best ways to develop social skills.

This is because rejection teaches us how to deal with failure and forced us to turn difficult situations into funny occurrences or learn to cope and deal with them in some way. And this is necessary for success in life not only in dating but in your professional life too.
