4 reasons why people make time for what they want

If someone doesn’t make time for you, it means they don’t care for you. Point-blank. There’s no excuse for not being able to find time in your day for the people you care about.

Today, we’ll tell you why that one person that keeps making excuses, simply doesn’t care enough about spending time with you and you should get the hint. If someone is really important to us, we’ll always be able to find time no matter how busy our schedule is. and this is why:

5 reasons why anyone would make time for you if you mattered:

1- It’s not that hard to change our schedule accordingly:

People often say they don’t have time for things when really they just don’t want to make time. It sounds harsh, but it’s true. If you want to do something, you’ll find the time. You’ll move things around in your schedule, you’ll wake up earlier, and you’ll stay up later. You’ll do whatever it takes because it’s important to you.

The things we make time for are the things that matter to us. They’re the things that we’re passionate about or that make us happy. They could be our hobbies, our friends, our families. Whatever it is, we prioritize those things over sleep, over taking a shower, over eating dinner if it comes down to it, and over quite literally anything. That’s only if we really wanted because they add value to our lives.

So next time you find yourself believing that someone doesn’t have time for something, ask yourself if that’s really true or if they just don’t care much about it anyway. Chances are, if they really wanted to, they could make the time.

2-Doing something different can be a breather and a nice change:

Unless socializing with you feels like a chore or duty then anyone would be happy to give you time and spend some time together after a long day doing their usual routine. After all, who doesn’t welcome change and a fresh little unexpected treat?

In fact, change is what keeps us going. It’s true that there are only so many hours in the day, and it could seem like our to-do lists just keep getting longer. However, doing something new and different like hanging out with a friend, loved one, or relative or going on a date can be the perfect distraction.

For one, it’s our only breather after a long stressful day at work or even on the weekend after an entire week of work. There’s only one condition obviously is that the things we want to do should be pleasurable, and they should give us a sense of satisfaction that our day-to-day obligations don’t always provide. This can be easily achieved as long as we care enough about the person we’re seeing or meeting.

3- Everyone needs to recharge whether they like to admit it or not:

Why do people make time for what they want? Well, one of the most famous reasons is that we only live once. And even though some people may try to live a life that’s all work and no play, that’s just not sustainable or realistic in the long run. Nobody can go through life without taking some time for themselves, and if they say that they’re doing just that then they’re probably just lying.

They must be taking some time to do the things that they think are enjoyable and precious and that could mean things other than meeting you or even getting in touch. Whether it’s taking a break to watch their favorite TV show or going on a vacation with their true loved one, everyone finds a way to indulge in the things they truly want. And, that’s okay because we all need some time to relax and recharge. If we didn’t, we would quickly burn out.

So next time you catch yourself believing that a specific person didn’t have time to get close to you in months or years, you better believe they just don’t want to. And, that should be okay remember that it’s essential for us all to chase after our well-being and what we truly enjoy doing. At least, they’re being polite and making excuses not to break your heart rather than telling you straight up that they’d rather not meet.

4- We all have the same amount of time in a day:

People often talk about how they don’t have enough time for the things they want to do. They’ll say they’re too busy at work, or they have too many obligations to their family and friends. But the truth is, we all have the same amount of time in a day. It’s just a matter of priorities.

If something is important enough to us, we’ll make time for it. Nobody has less time than you do in a day, despite their best excuses. So if you find yourself free often for a coffee break a tv show or other things you like to do so chances are everyone else does too.
For instance, if we really want to travel, we’ll find a way to save up our vacation days and make it happen.

Or if we’re passionate about a hobby, we’ll find an hour or two each week to dedicate to it. In other words, we make time for the things that matter to us. So if you’re feeling like you don’t have enough time for your goals, ask yourself how much you really care about them. Chances are, you can find a way to fit them into your day if you’re truly committed.

Bottom line:

People always make time for what they want. So, if someone doesn’t make time for you, it’s because you’re not a priority in their life. And that’s okay. Not everyone is meant to be in our lives forever. Sometimes, people come into our lives for a season and then move on. And that’s fine.

What’s not fine is when someone pretends to care about us and then disappears when we need them the most, leaving us hanging and leading us on. That’s just hurtful and it’s not worth our time or energy. So, if someone doesn’t make time for you, it means they don’t care for you. And that’s perfectly okay.
